Meet the Instructors!

There are several instructors to support your journey into data science. Here are a few of them!

** Mat Leonard **

Mat Leonard is a former physicist, research neuroscientist, and data scientist. He did his PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley.

** Juno Lee**

Juno will introduce you to the data analysis process and how to use Python to analyze data. As a data scientist, Juno built a recommendation engine to personalize online shopping experiences, computer vision, and natural language processing models to analyze product data, and tools to generate insight into user behavior.

Josh Bernhard

Josh will introduce you to practical statistics and how to conduct statistical analysis using python libraries. Josh has a graduate degree in statistics and has extensive experience as a data scientist in the industry. He has worked for several firms, including KPMG and Galvanize.

Mike Yi

Mike will introduce you to data wrangling using Python libraries, such as Matplotlib and Seaborn. Mike has an interdisciplinary academic background, including mathematics, statistics, physics and psychology. Previously, he worked on the Data Analyst Nanodegree program as a support lead.
